What You Need To Know

Employment Freedom: Unlike the Working KITAS, which ties a foreigner to a specific employer, the Working KITAP provides more flexibility. Holders can change employers without having to apply for a new permit, although they must notify immigration authorities about their new employment.
Additional Benefits: Holders of a Working KITAP can enjoy benefits similar to Indonesian citizens in terms of residential status, property ownership (under certain conditions), and easier access to financial services.
Family Inclusion: Family members (spouse and children) of Working KITAP holders can also apply for dependent KITAPs, allowing them to live in Indonesia for as long as the primary holder's KITAP is valid.

Validity Period

Stay Duration: Stay up to 5 years and extendable for a lifetime of your employment.

Essential Requirements for Your Journey

A. Document from Applicant :

Application Form : Our application form.
Passport : Your passport should be valid for at least 36 months.
Photo: You'll need a recent color photo of yourself.
Previous Length Of Stay : Limited Stay Permit Card proving that the applicant has been living in Indonesia for the last 3 years at time of submission.
Proof of finances : Must be minimum (USD 2,000 or equivalent) in a 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
Work Detail and Document : Education Certificate or relevant qualification/ experience, Working Location Address, and Job Position
Residential Document : SKTT (Temporary Residential Registration)
Company Legal Document : PMA Paper Legal Document

Other Legal Document such as SK Kemenkumham, NIB, Company Permit
Company Letterhead and Stamp
Company Tax ID
Company Shareholder ID (Passport / KTP)

Processing Time

Up to 60 Working Days

KITAP Cancellation

You are required to cancel your KITAP if you want to terminate it or change to a new visa:

EPO (Exit Permit Only) is required if you are inside Indonesia.
ERP (Exit Re-Entry) Permit is required if you are outside of Indonesia.
